Our autumn term is drawing to a close and all the staff and children are looking forward to their well-deserved Christmas break. It was a privilege to go with the school to the pantomime that was on Thursday. The children loved every minute of it, its part of what Christmas is about. Also finishing the service in Church, with the children, which sets us all up for the forthcoming festivities.
The autumn term has been a busy one, both in school and on the governor’s front. I think that you would agree that there has been a massive change in the school, even over one term, including the learning logs that we all help work on, with our children. Seeing the completed work in school. Fantastic efforts!
Some of the things that we have achieved with staff this term are:
Completing the Vision of the School
Coming into the school and seeing the Staff and Children busy at their work.
Changing the setup of the board and making sure governors are getting a clearer picture of where we are.
Continuous training for the governors.
Looking at and updating Policies as when required by time.
As governors, we are also continually working with Mrs Parsons and her staff setting out the plans and how we can secure the best for our school, staff and children following the Ofsted visit. More information will be sent home as we return to school in the New Year.
I wish you all the very best for Christmas and a fantastic new year.
