Nut-Free Academy

At Gentleshaw Primary we are a ‘Nut-Free & Sesame-Free’ academy.  This is in order to provide a safe environment for our children with a nut & sesame allergies. This type of allergy is extremely dangerous and can be life threatening, so whole school and parental support is vital.

What can't be sent into school?

We are asking parents NOT to send in actual nuts, sesame seeds or any other products which contain actual nuts or sesame seeds (such as chocolate spreads including 'Nutella', peanut butter, cereal bars with nuts or chocolate bars with nuts, seeded bread/rolls or crackers ).
